Jeremy's Birthday Dinner

For Jeremy's birthday we ate at The Roof in Salt Lake City.
Did you know that if you sign up for Temple Square Dining's birthday club that you get a free meal for your birthday?
It works at all their restaurants, even The Roof.

Emmy loved getting dressed up for a special dinner.
She loved having her seat overlooking the temple.
And more than anything she loved the chocolate covered strawberries.

If you love polaroids, you'll have a blast with this. Emmy was playing with it all afternoon.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

It's this guy's birthday today.
His 30th birthday in fact!
Woohoo!

Happy Happy Birthday Jeremy! We love you a ton!

This morning Em and I decorated his car at work.

I wanted to really deck his car out and fill it up but Em said "no, mom. It can't be messy. Dad doesn't want to clean his car on his birthday."

I asked Emmy what she loved about her Daddy.
She said:

1-he dances with me
2- he plays princesses with me
3- he tickles me
4 - he loves me tooooo much (it's what Em says instead of soooo much)
5 - he lets me sit on his shoulders a lot
6 - he helps me with my numbers
7- today is his birthday
8- do you know i love daddy a lot?
then she said "i'm done now. he's my favorite."

The big party...

Emmy's first friend birthday party was last weekend.
She and I planned this for months.
I think I have a future party planner on my hands because she knew exactly what she wanted.
She picked the theme, helped with the invitations, and chose all the party supplies.

It was a huge success and at the end of the party we had 2 exhausted parents, one mom in the ER (kidney stones...that was fun!), and a very happy little princess.

Warning: there are a lot of pictures!

The Theme: A Royal Ball/Princesses and a Frog Prince ( we had to do something for the boys at the party! Turns out only one showed up but he was a great sport and a perfect frog prince!)

Opening presents

Jeremy made these castles for every princess and prince. I think he's trying to win Daddy of the year. It was totally his idea and he was so excited to do it for her party.

They decorated castles with stickers and jewels.

And they lived happily ever after.
