Thinks no one wants to play with her or be her friend.
She forgives easily and continues to try
but some days it just wasn't meant to be.
She sobs in her mommy's arms
And her mommy cries as well.
It's so hard to watch your little one hurt
and even harder to hear your 2 year old
say "no one like me. they hurt me."
Mommy does her best to comfort but the healing doesn't begin
until Daddy walks in the door.
Daddy tells Little girl that she is beautiful inside and out.
He tells her how much he loves her and thanks her for being so forgiving to her friends.
He then asks her for a dance.
Together they dance until tears are replaced with giggles.
The pain of today washed away with love.
Thank goodness for Daddys.
We love ours very much.

Thanks for making me cry Leslie. Coulda put up a warning or something. Sheesh. I'm afraid to ask if part of the guilty party was Jack.....
How lucky she is to have such a great daddy and mommy.
