What do you like to do in the winter?
I have two personalities in the winter.
I am a hopeless romantic who loves playing out in the snow, bundling up in 15 layers of warm clothes, and getting in snowball fights with my Hubs. I love sipping hot cider to defrost my frozen hands after being outside for hours. I love making snow angels and hearing the snow crunch underneath my boots. I love seeing the sunlight sparkle across freshly fallen snow and hoping it never melts.
However.....
I love curling up in my Gap pajamas underneath a cozy blanket, watching a movie and seeing the snow fall outside my window. It's a much warmer way to enjoy the winter.
Things I'd love to do this winter:
make a snowman| make snow angels with Em| make snow ice cream
get in a massive snowball fight under the moonlight| go sledding|
host a winter wonderland party| enjoy the beautiful snow capped mountains
take family pictures in the snow| go hot tubbing while it's snowing|
teach Emmy how to catch snowflakes on her tongue| find the longest icicle in our neighborhood
go ice skating| build castles in the snow| make snow candy

Seriously.
I am not just a winter person. I'm a sunny, 93 degrees, laying on the beach kinda person.
BUT, I'm trying real hard to enjoy it this year. Might as well, it's either me or old man winter and I think old man winter will beat me in an arm wrestle.
I love to decorate for Christmas. Each year it feels like such a chore to get everything out and up again, but then once we are done I absolutely love it! There is something magical about this time of year.
I could also sit in front of a fireplace for hours. I love heat!! That is quite the understatement. :) One year Bart bought me a twin electric blanket. That way I could keep my side of the bed toasty. It worked wonderfully.
I do love the snow, but I wish that there was some way that the snow could be warm. I love skiing if I have to be cold. It's just so expensive to go these days. I need to get out at least once this year.
I love looking at the winter snowy landscape. It's just beautiful and very romantic.
