Emmy's latest funnies

A few random thoughts by Emmy:

me: Emmy, how much do I love you?
Em: Toooooo much! (she means so much but says too instead. On the other hand, considering how much I try to snuggle and kiss her, maybe she does mean too much.)


me: Emmy, who do you want to be in our nativity play on Christmas Eve? Mary or the Angel?
Em: the Angel.
me: Great choice. You get to tell the shepherds something very important. Do you want to practice what the Angel says?
Em: yep
me: "Fear not, for behold, I bring you..."
Em (interrupting without skipping a beat): PRESENTS and a baby sister!

apparently all my teachings of how we don't focus on presents this time of year hasn't sunk in yet.


Driving past the temple
Em: I go inside the temple. I get married!
me: who are you going to marry?
Em: my baby sister!

I'll save that lesson for another day....afterall, it is a sealing ordinance. She's not completely off!
