Happy 2011! Our family is excited for a new year! 2010 had a lot of rough moments and so far 2011 has started out that way as well. But we have faith that it will get better.
2010 was a year of adoption disappointments, watching a 3 year old greatly struggle with the desires of more children in her family, and not understanding why answers to prayer don't align with desires of the heart - especially when they are righteous desires.
However, 2010 was also a year of joy and learning. We bought a new home, moved to a wonderful neighborhood and ward, and made huge decisions for our family.
So far in 2011 we have survived Daddy's 2 week trip to Mexico City, a couple of huge adoption disappointments, and starting paperwork with yet another adoption agency.
We are strong, brave, and prayerful. 2011 will be a good year.
