I need your HOPE!

Hey Friends! I need your favorite quotes, favorite songs, sayings, etc that have to do with hope, faith, perseverance, etc. They can be spiritual, funny, encouraging, etc.

Comment below please! I'm working on a new project and would love to hear what has inspired you!

Thanks!

i LOVE notebook doodles.

your button will be done any day, and you will be spotlighted monday.

you know what brought me hope? (this will sound insane) a few crazy books.

1.) i hate everything
2.) all my friends are dead

two hilarious books (found on amazon) that taught me to laugh.

also, if you want some songs that always helped me, well, i'll send you a play list.

there is a song called, 'answer' by sarah mclachlan that always helps me. beautiful song.

actually, her whole album, 'laws of illusion' really helped me after our 2nd failed adoption.

i love you.

I still have the note that YOU gave me about 7 years ago. It lives on my mirror where I can read it often. :)

"When you come to the edge of all the light you know, and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing one of two things will happen: There will be something solid to stand on or you will be taught how to fly."

Love it! Thanks for sharing it with me eons ago. :)

I have some more, but I have to find them first.

i just spent a few minutes looking at your adoption profiles. i was reminded what truly amazing people you guys are! (okay, i already knew it, but loved reading all about your favorites and such.) i especially loved reading your letters to birth parents. i am praying for you to be blessed to grow your family soon!

I know it's cliche, but I repeat the mantra "I can do hard things" to myself quite frequently. It helps!

I also like this quote: "When we are no longer able to change a situation we are challenged to change ourselves." Viktor Frankl

Let's see..I too think that Sarah McLachlan is amazing, particularly the songs on the Mirrorball album. I also love the song by Jewel called "Hands," especially the chorus: "In the end, only kindness matters."

Also the poetry of ee cummings and various pieces of classical music. I know there's lots more stuff, but I will have to mull it over some more!
